I have some question about the EMC. When compare with the spec EN55022 and EN301406. They will cover the frequency band from 30MHz to 1GHz.
According to EN55022
Limits for radiated disturbance of class B ITE at a measuring distance of 10 m
1. For freq. range 30MHz to 230MHz QP limits : 30 dB(uV/m)
2. For freq. range 230MHz to 1000MHz QP limits : 37 dB(uV/m)
According to EN301406, TC12
The spurious emissions, as measured,
1. For freq. range 0 to 1GHz peak limits : 250nW (-36dBm)
2. For freq. range above 1GHz peak limits : 1uW (-30dBm)
I would say TC12 has a bit relax specifications than the EN55022 depends on the emission signals :
EN55022 is 30dBuv/m at 10 m from DUT. QP detector.
TC12 is -36dBm from DUT. Peak detector.
If DUT can pass EN55022, it should pass TC12 easily provided that the signal is not the complex signal with very irregular time variants domain and very small duty cycle
Am I right? And any comment. Many thanks. |
