As you may know, the 3rd Edition of IEC 60601 (an internationally harmonized standard for electrical and mechanical safety conformance for medical products)
was published in 2005. The adoption of this standard
in the global marketplace is moving quickly. And
because the 3rd Edition significantly changes the way
